The VX-Freedom 6-18x40 Riflescope with a Tri-MOA Reticle, CDS, and a Matte finish is a prime example of our commitment to excellence. Leupold's Custom Dial System (CDS) allows you to customize your turret (adjustment dial) to your precise ballistics and environmental conditions. Simply range the target, turn the dial to the corresponding number, and aim directly at your mark.

In Second Focal Plane (rear focal plane) scopes, the reticle maintains its size while the target grows and shrinks with adjustments to the magnification. This design makes these reticles ideal for low-light hunting situations and scopes that do not utilize hash marks for range estimation.

The side focus adjusts the scope's parallax, resulting in a clearer reticle and reduced perceived movement when shooting at different distances.
