To adjust the magnification, simply turn the Magnification Adjustment Ring clockwise to increase the magnification or counterclockwise to decrease it. After setting the magnification, some refocusing is usually required. To adjust the focus, rotate the Helical Focus until the image is in focus.

For the Crossfire HD 65mm and 80mm models, you can adjust the viewing angle by loosening the Thumb Screw on the tripod Mounting Collar, rotating the spotting scope body to a comfortable viewing angle, and then tightening the Thumb Screw to secure the position. Additionally, you can extend the Sunshade to block out interfering stray light and shield the objective lens from damage and precipitation.
